Tami Robinson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and focuses on clients who have experienced relational trauma, childhood sexual abuse, childhood, adolescent, and adult anxiety, depression, chronic, complex, intergenerational, and transgenerational trauma, and PTSD.
She has worked with individuals, youth, women, and families in crises, individuals affected by homelessness, individuals infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, youth and families displaced due to foster care, LGBTQ+ communities, and more.
Tami specializes in trauma-informed care for individuals, couples, and groups. She focuses on assisting individuals affected by trauma due to a history of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and other trauma that may affect current relationships and cause difficulty in everyday living.
In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, she is an ordained pastor with over 25 years of pastoral experience and 20 years of Christian Counseling. In 2015 I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, combining my Social Services and Christian Counseling education. She also has years of experience with youth and possesses a Minor in Special Education with a concentration in autism. She owns a mental health private practice, SoulPath Counseling and Therapeutic Services, LLC, where she enjoys assisting youth, individuals, couples, and families with emotional, behavioral, and spiritual healing. .
About Us…
From October 2021 through September 2022 there were a total of 3,569 children served in foster care in Hillsborough County. This number is disproportionately higher and is 80% higher than the total number of children served in Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. Most of these youths are not prepared to enter mainstream society at the age of maturity. Research shows 20% of these youth become instantly homeless, 70% become pregnant before 21 years of age, 60% end up in the sex industry/human trafficking, 25% have PTSD, and less than 3% earn a college degree. These numbers continue to rise due to the number of displaced youths within Florida, and Hillsborough County alone, increasing daily. Legacy Life Empowerment Program's vision is to mitigate the challenges faced by these youth by providing supervision, respite, and trauma-informed care by increasing self-efficacy, social, emotional, and mental health, education, and life skills..
